DRAFT — pending legal review

Content rules.

Every listing is reviewed by a person before it goes live. These are the rules we review against.

A listing must

  • Be a genuine, currently open role at a real company that you are authorised to advertise.
  • State a salary range (featured roles) that reflects what you will actually pay.
  • Link to a working application page belonging to the company or its ATS.
  • Describe the role accurately: title, location, remote arrangement and employment type.

We do not list

  • Fake or speculative roles, "talent pools", or lead-generation posts.
  • Commission-only or pay-to-apply roles, roles requiring a deposit, training fee or purchase, and multi-level marketing.
  • Unpaid internships presented as jobs, or roles that breach minimum-wage law.
  • Postings that discriminate on grounds prohibited by Indian law, or that are otherwise unlawful.
  • Links to malware, adult content, phishing, or domains on our blocklist.
  • Content that infringes someone else's rights, or that is defamatory, obscene or harmful as described in Rule 3(1)(b) of the IT Rules, 2021.

How moderation works

  1. Every submission is checked automatically: the apply link must resolve, a salary must be stated, and the text is screened for scam patterns (commission-only, pay-to-apply, MLM and similar). A clean listing goes live when its payment is confirmed; anything flagged waits for a person.
  2. Anyone can report a live listing from its page. A listing with three open reports is hidden automatically until reviewed.
  3. Complaints through the grievance mechanism are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within the IT Rules timelines; content that is unlawful on its face is removed within 36 hours of a valid order or notice.
  4. Fees are not refunded where a listing is removed for the advertiser's own breach.
